You can prune this begonia in the spring or throughout the year, as long as there are dead or damaged leaves or stems. Either way, you'll be rewarded with a beautiful, healthy plant!
Here's how to prune: Use a sharp pruning tool such as scissors or a knife and sterilize it with alcohol. Then, pinch back new growth to encourage dense growth, pinch the tips of new shoots, and prune dead or damaged growth. You can immediately shape your plant to be pleasing to the eye!

Hi, i think the best way to do this is to use sharp scissors and be gentle so that you don't damage the stem and it can grow new roots.

Here's what you need to know to prune an Angel Wing Begonia:
- When your plant is around 6 inches tall, gently pinch off the top growing shoot to encourage bushier growth.
- Regularly remove any dead or dying leaves or stems.
- Reduce the main stem to a desired height when your plant gets leggy. Be sure to cut just above a leaf node to promote new branching.
- Cut the entire plant back to about 6 inches in late winter or early spring for a more drastic prune.

If you're worried that your plant is a little leggy, don't worry! You can easily prune it yourself. Just grab your garden shears, snip a few inches off the stem, and you're good to go. It's really quite simple. Best of luck, and have fun planting!
